We handle the management and maintenance of your boat
At Damad Yachts, we’re experts in all aspects of boat management. Our aim is to help boat owners maximise the performance of their vessel while keeping it in top conditions and minimising maintenance and costs all year round.
Boat documentation and charter license
Damad Yachts coordinates and oversees all necessary procedures to properly rent a boat and obtain the permits required to carry out the rental activity.
Crew selection and training
The best candidates are pre-selected and interviewed to assemble the finest crew for each boat according to its specific needs. Throughout the season, all crew management is handled by Damad Yachts. Crew members are trained not only in nautical skills but also in protocol and cuisine.
Boat promotion
This work begins with photography and video recording. Once the best material is selected, we create the boat brochure, which is then distributed and promoted among our trusted agents, national and international brokerage networks, and our regular clients under the name and standard of Damad Yachts.
Reservation management
Our role as manager is to maximise the number of bookings and revenue while keeping expenses during the season as low as possible.
To achieve this, we always seek optimal dates on the charter calendar, offering specific promotions for the days that remain available between bookings. All reservations are fomalised through the signing of a Damad Yachts’ own contract and are paid in advance before the charter date.
From that moment on, everything is meticulously planned with the client and/or broker so that from the beginning to the end of the charter, everything exceeds the client’s expectations. This includes provisioning management based on a preference list, management of water equipment, restaurant and entertainment venue bookings, transfers, etc.
Mooring management
Damad has extensive experience in this area and good contacts in all major ports. This is essential to be able to coordinate charters and client requests successfully. Our aim is always to have satisfied customers and safe boats, with minimum financial impact on the owner.
We obtain moorings at competitive prices. Our agreements with the ports for moorings at our winter base are highly competitive and therefore of significant benefit to our owners.
All this together makes the difference in the annual result and also in the market value of the boat, due to its excellent condition.
Technical support
There are always unforeseen events during the season. Given the high demand from suppliers, it is essential to have onshore support and a network of providers with not only highly professional but also preferential treatment. Damad has strategic agreements for the best technical support and exclusive discounts.
Winter maintenance
Maintenance is one of our best known strengths. Our yachts are always in top condition and we keep maintenance costs lower than any other company in the industry thanks to our in-house team. This is only possible because as soon as the charter season is over, we start working on the preparation of the next one, with continuous and meticulous work being carried out throughout the winter. This allows us to always have our fleet ready on time, save costs and avoid unpleasant surprises during charter periods.
It is essential to minimise the cost of maintenance to plan all work properly. Our staff work daily on our boats checking systems, testing installations and maintaining all the boat’s equipment so that it is always in perfect condition. In addition to our own highly qualified team, we have excellent agreements with the best suppliers in the sector that directly benefit our owners.
